We started by modifying the drywall above the fireplace, removing the dated design that boxed in the TV. Then, we added a beautiful custom mantle to define the space. Finally, the white & gray marble picket tiles on the wall and sleek rectangular tiles on the floor tie everything together, creating an eye-catching feature that elevates the entire room. How did we make it look so good? 1 pro step is that Ondrej cut the sides of the tile at an angle for a closer fit to the wood floor without a transition piece or gap between the 2 materials.
