Professional Flooring & Tile Installation That Lasts
With diverse flooring and tile installation experience, our team at Beams to Basements delivers work that lasts. We install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), engineered hardwood, tile, and carpet in homes throughout West Denver. We also restore original hardwood floors, changing the honey tone to a more modern stain or natural finish and seamlessly feathering in new floorboards so they can last for at least another 100 years.
Tile shapes, materials, and sizes continue to change, so it’s easy to spot an outdated look on your floors, fireplace, backsplash, and bathroom walls. Our tile installer is a virtuoso, flawlessly waterproofing shower walls, custom shower pans, and toiletry nooks, and laying tiles with precisely aligning grout lines, even the other tradespeople on our jobsites compliment his mastery.
Our flooring and tile projects gallery shows the range of what we can do, from simple plank installations to complex tile patterns. We’ve built a reputation for doing projects the right way in Arvada, Boulder, Littleton, Golden and the surrounding areas because we don’t ignore existing conditions that will cause future problems. Before installation, we inspect and repair the subfloor for a solid base to properly support the new flooring. The “Level the Floor” album highlights a unique project where we used lasers to cut furring strips to correct a subfloor that was more than 4 inches out of level across the room.
What are the best tiles for my project? Tiles can be used in a variety of places– bathrooms, kitchens, mudrooms, fireplaces–, so there’s not a 1-size-fits-all answer for what’s best for your project. We guide homeowners to make the best decisions for their needs and budgets. For example, 12”x12” and 12”x24” tiles in basic brick or stacked layouts can be installed more quickly on floors and walls than smaller tiles or more complex layout patterns, so the installation rate is less for that size tile. However, it’s ideal for tiles in a custom shower pan to be <2” for a smooth slope to the drain.
